Brief personal introduction:

Hi! My name is Rochelle Warrington - call me Shelly - please! I've been teaching kindergarten students at the Keshena Primary School for a long time (Kindergarten students believe that I rode in on a dinosaur!. Even though by brain is in pain - I do enjoy learning new things that will be useful to me and my students.

Overview of content/topic level of unit plan:

My subject is Insects and the grade level is Kindergarten
Writing descriptions for understanding
The idea of the project is to get the students to describe their insect with more vocabulary, and specific terms and to get their idea across the way they want it to.
I am concerned about the amount of older child/partner/parent help that I may need. I think it is more than I am anticipating - however it is not undo-able!
